OUR TOWN PAINTING COLLAGES

The idea for the Our Town Series of collaged boxes and box constructions came out of a one day workshop I took on working small.  Working small canvases was something I had done very little of, and I found the geometrics of it relaxing, and the serial nature of progressive boxes inspired my creativity. After I completed a few, I realized I was really creating little street scenes, which, when I put them together, became Our Town.
